Fusion Patatas Bravas is a spicy, tasty Spanish dish of potatoes, garlic, chilies, and tomatoes, Indianized in this recipe with the addition of cumin.

4 as a side dish
20 baby potatoes (about 400g)
8 cloves garlic ( minced )
1/2 onion ( minced )
3 dry red chilies ( broken in half )
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika ( preferably Spanish or Hungarian )
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 cup canned crushed tomatoes or 4 red juicy tomatoes ( chopped fine )
3 tablespoons olive oil
5 tablespoons or 1 small bunch flat parsley ( chopped )

Boil potatoes uncovered in a saucepan for about 16-20 minutes, or until soft. Cool and peel.

Heat olive oil in a 10" frying pan on medium heat until hot and add garlic. Stir for about ½ minute....
