Garlic Basil Knots
These garlic bread knots may look difficult to make, but they really are not. Besides they are deliciously soft and look so pretty.

1 cup warm water
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
3 teaspoons active dry yeast
3 1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 egg

3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tablespoon dried basil
