Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken with Fresh Herbs

So I've experienced a serious chicken thigh kick of late. It's strange since I in no way actually believed I loved chicken thighs till I made use of it with a crock pot honey sesame chicken recipe.

8 pieces fresh chicken thighs ( bone in, skin on )
Sea salt along with freshly ground pepper
3 tablespoons fresh butter ( divided, unsalted )
4 clove(s) garlic ( minced )
1/4 cup brown sugar ( packed )
1 tablespoon raw honey
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
2 tbsp parsley leaves ( fresh chopped )
