Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

You can’t go wrong with a giant chocolate chip cookie! A 12? chocolate chip cookie that is fun for a sweet treat, to celebrate any occasion, or even a non-cake birthday dessert. My kids request this for their birthday cake instead of cake!

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup ( 1 stick + 1/2 stick butter), softened
1/2 packed light brown sugar
1/2 granulated sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips (milk, semi-sweet, dark)
