BASIC INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup steel cut oats (washing is optional)
1 cup almond milk (sweetened or unsweetened depending on your sweet tooth) or water
1 medjool date, fresh and blended into a paste or 1 tsp of Just Date Syrup (optional)
1/8 tsp cinnamon
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS YOU CAN ADD BEFORE COOKING:
1 tbsp dried blueberries or cranberries
1 tbsp almonds
1 tbsp walnuts
2 tbsp diced apples or pears
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
OATMEAL TOPPINGS YOU CAN ADD AFTER COOKING:
shredded coconut
walnuts
fresh berries
extra cinnamon
chopped banana

water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)
