3 c. flour
2 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cream of tarter
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. milk
1 egg ( beaten )
Heat oven to 425. Mix together all dry ingredients. Add butter and with pastry cutter, cut in until it looks like coarse meal. Stir in milk and egg. Turn onto floured board and knead 4 or 5 times....
