2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
1/2 c. butter ( softened )
1/2 c. cold strong coffee
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
