Greek Yogurt Banana Bread

1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter (one stick), softened
3 large very ripe bananas
2 eggs
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, or whatever you like)
1/3 cup chocolate chips (if desired)
1/2 cup butter (one stick), softened

2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, or whatever you like)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x5 loaf pan.
In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar, then add eggs and mix well.
Stir in bananas, yogurt and vanilla.
Then add flour, salt, and soda.
