3 tbsp butter ( divided use )
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/3 cup shallots ( minced )
1 lb green beans ( use the smaller French haricot vert green beans if you can find them )
salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
