Grilled Wagyu Steak Over Sweet & Spicy Jalapeno Slaw

If you like sweet and spicy foods, this dish is for you! The tender Miyazakigyu Wagyu strip steak is marinated in jalapenos, sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, mirin, and lime juice. The A5 steak is then grilled and placed on a bed of jalapeno slaw! Try this recipe if you're looking for a flavorful dinner!

1 Double 8 Cattle Company Miyazakigyu Wagyu Strip Steak
Marinade:
2 tbsp. Grapeseed Oil
1 tbsp. Chili Oil
2 tsp. Sesame Oil
2 tbsp. Rice Vinegar
2 tbsp. Mirin
2 tbsp. Sweet Chili Sauce
2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
1 Lime ( divided )
3 Garlic Cloves ( minced )
1/2 cup Cilantro ( stems only )
1 Large Jalapeno ( cut into thin rounds )
Sweet and Spicy Jalapeno Slaw :
1 SMALL HEAD Savoy Cabbage ( cut in half, core removed, and cut into bite-size strips )
1/2 Red Onion ( julienned )
1 Red Jalapeno ( seeded and cut into very thin strips )
1 Jalapeno ( seeded and cut into very thin strips )
1/2 cup Cilantro ( leaves only, minced )
1 Large Carrot ( peeled and grated on the large holes of a cheese grater )
1/2 cup Green Onions ( sliced )
Dressing:
1 Lime ( juiced )
1 Garlic Clove ( finely minced )
2 tbsp. Rice Vinegar
2 tbsp. Sweet Chili Sauce
2 tsp. Sesame Oil
2 tsp. Chili Oil

FIRST STEP
