Ground Turkey Stuffed Peppers are a healthy, satisfying, and easy dinner that the whole family can agree on! Each sweet bell pepper is filled with meat, rice and cheese in a zesty tomato sauce, then baked until warm and tender. 4 sweet bell peppers
2 T olive oil
1 lb. ground turkey
1/2 c finely diced onion
1 c cooked rice
15 oz tomato sauce
1 t Italian seasoning
1/2 t sugar
1/4 t garlic powder
1/4 t onion powder
salt and pepper ( to taste )
1 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 c shredded Monterey Jack cheese
