Loco Moco is traditional Hawaiian comfort food. This traditional recipe features a Fullblood Wagyu beef burger patty, topped with gravy and a sunny-side-up egg, all laid over a bed of rice!

1 lb. Double 8 Cattle Company Fullblood Wagyu Ground Beef
1/4 cup Sweet Onion or Yellow Onion ( diced )
to taste Kosher Salt
to taste Freshly Ground Black Pepper
2 tsp. Canola Oil
Scallions ( chopped, to garnish )
Pineapple ( cut into bite-size pieces, to garnish )
Rice:
2 cups Long-Grain Rice
3 1/2 cups Low Sodium Chicken Broth
Gravy:
1 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
1/4 cup White or Cremini Mushrooms ( roughly chopped )
1/4 cup Sweet Onion or Yellow Onion ( diced )
1 1/2 cup Beef Stock
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp. Cornstarch
1 tbsp. Water
to taste Kosher Salt
to taste Freshly Ground Black Pepper

2 tbsp. Canola Oil
