If you are looking for a sweet and simple barbecue sauce recipe, then this Homemade Barbecue sauce is for you!

about 1 cup
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, mince
1 shallot, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh ginger
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon worcestershire
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 dried anaheim chile pepper, stem and seeds removed
  1. In a sauce pan over medium heat, heat the oil.

1 cup water
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper
1/2 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 tablespoon ground mustard
5 tablespoons light brown sugar
5 tablespoons sugar

Mix together the ketchup, water, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce and lemon juice. Bring to a boil. Mix in the rest of the ingredients and turn to low. Simmer, uncovered for 1 hour
