These Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies are are thick, yet soft, melt in your mouth cookies full of chunks of rich chocolate. Better than bakery cookies they will put you on the top of the list with your cookie loving friends

1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter softened
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs
