Homemade Cookie Crisp Cereal

NO butter NO flour {better than the original} Cookie Crisp Cereal

1 cup of Bobs Red Mill Gluten Free Oats {processed into flour}
1/3 cup of Almond Flour
1/4 cup of ground flax
2 - 3 tbsp sugar {depending on how sweet you like your cereal}
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp softened coconut butter {you may sub coconut oil}
1 egg
1/4 cup of chocolate chips
add the ingredients {in the order above} to a food processor pulse until the dough starts to form a ball {the dough may look crumbly, and that is fine} on your work surface, press firmly into a ball roll...

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
