Homemade eggnog that's good enough for the biggest eggnog snob. It’s thick, sweet, creamy and smooth, with the perfect eggnog flavor.

6 large egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups milk
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Pinch of salt
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
