For the chicken:
1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts ( cut into 1 inch pieces )
2 eggs
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
oil for frying ( canola or vegetable oil )
1/4 cup green onions ( thinly sliced )
For the sauce:
1/2 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp water ( divided use )
1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp corn starch
