Hot Rum Toddy


Achoo! Tis the catch a cold. Luckily, this recipe calls for some household ingredients that even a poor graduate student such as myself can mix together in a pinch. With a couple of teaspoons of vitamin C- rich lemon juice; calcium and potassium loaded brown sugar (which contains less calories than white sugar); a shot of good old fashioned dark rum (or bourbon/ whiskey depending on your preference), topped off with some hot water and a lemon slice; anyone suffering from a runny no
