Dabeli is a popular street food originated in Kutch, it is also known as "Kutchi Dabeli" or "Double Roti". It is an easy snacks recipe made with spicy tomato mixture combined with onion, garlic chutney and meetha chutney, spiced masala peanut fruit like pomegranates and served in a masala pav. INGREDIENTS:
(1 cup) Oats
1 tablespoon Oil
2 tablespoons Onion
½ cup Capsicum
(¼ cup) Cauliflower (blanched)
2 tablespoons Green peas (blanched)
¼ cup Cabbage
Salt to taste
2 teaspoons Black pepper powder
2 teaspoons Cumin powder
1 teaspoon Chilli powder
2 teaspoons Turmeric powder
2 tablespoons Kissan Sweet and Spicy Sauce
1 Potato (boiled)
½ cup Tomato
1 tablespoon Pomegranate Seeds
1 tablespoon Chopped banana
1 teaspoon Dabeli Masala
1 teaspoon Chaat masala
2 teaspoons Fresh Coriander
3 Pav (whole wheat if possible)
handful Cheese
Water as required
1 tablespoon Masala peanuts

METHOD OF PREPARATION

  1. Heat a pan, add oats and roast lightly. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  2. Heat oil in the same pan and add chopped onions, capsicum, cauliflower, green peas, cabbage...
