An easy family-friendly dinner that's full of flavor! This Italian Sausage Pasta includes a rich homemade sauce with sausage, tomatoes, peppers and onions, as well as plenty of fresh herbs and Parmesan cheese. Toss the sauce with tender pasta and you've got a simple, hearty and delicious meal in less than 1 hour. Don't forget the garlic bread!

2 T olive oil
1/2 c finely chopped onion
1/2 c finely chopped sweet bell pepper
1 lb. Italian sausage ( casings removed )
2 cloves garlic
Kosher salt and pepper
Pinch crushed red pepper flakes
1 c dry red wine
2 cans crushed tomatoes ( 28 ounces each )
1/2 c cream
2 T tomato paste
1 lb. pasta
1/4 c chopped fresh parsley
2 T chopped fresh basil
1/2 c freshly grated Parmesan
1/2 c finely chopped onion
1/2 c finely chopped sweet bell pepper
1 lb. Italian sausage ( casings removed )

- Heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the onions and bell peppers; sauté for about 5-7 minutes (or until tender). Add the sausage and cook for 7-8 more minutes, until browned....
