Basic Pie Crust:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
2/3 cup (10-2/3 tablespoons) chilled unsalted butter
4 to 5 tablespoons ice water
Topping:
1/2 cup pecan halves
1/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons firmly packed dark-brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup (5-1/3 tablespoons) chilled unsalted butter
Apple Filling:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
3 tablespoons cinnamon
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup Jack Daniels bourbon
1/2 cup whipping cream
