Mama's Vanilla Pound Cake

Classic pound cake recipe, that everyone will love! Jazz it up a little by using a Bundt pan!

• 1 cup unsalted butter
• 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
• 5 eggs
• 2 tbsp milk
• 3 tbsp artificial vanilla extract or pure vanilla extract
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2 cups sifted cake and pastry flour
Heavily grease and flour Bundt pan. In large bowl, beat butter until light and fluffy; beat in sugar until combined. Beat in eggs, 1 at time and beating each for 1 minute. Beat in milk, vanilla and salt. Stir in flour until well mixed. Scrape evenly into greased Bundt pan, smoothing top. Bake in center of 325°F (160°C) oven until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean, about an hour. Let cool in pan on rack for 30 minutes. Turn out, right side up, onto rack; let cool completely. Dust with some powdered sugar or top with a chocolate glaze!
