1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 cup sugar

1 1/4 cups milk

Soak the walnuts in the maple syrup for 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x5x3 loaf pan.
