1 medium-sized onion ( finely chopped )
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
to taste Salt
1 tsp chana dal soaked in water
1 tsp fennel seeds, roughly crushed
1 tbsp coriander leaves
1 tsp finely chopped/grated ginger
2 dry red chilies, chopped
1 green chili, roughly chopped
2 sprigs Curry leaves
