Meat Chili

3 lb. skirt steak
1/2 cup(s) honey or sorghum
4 tbsp. soy sauce
16 oz. green chili
3 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
6 ancho chilies (or 6 T high quality ancho chili powder)
1 pinch(es) chipotle powder
2 clove(s) garlic
2 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. paprika
Marinate skirt steak in honey and soy sauce for 10 minutes. Grill over VERY hot coals. Cover and let rest 5 minutes. Cut across the grain in 1/4 strips. Combine all ingredients in a 6 qt slow cooker, cook on low overnight. Serve with fresh tortillas, beans, etc.
