These Easy Cheese-Stuffed Meatball Subs are a tasty filling meal. It’s another variation using the best meatball recipe that you can enjoy with your spaghetti.
12 large meatballs
1 lbs. ground beef
1 lbs. ground pork
¼ large white onion ( finely minced )
3-4 pieces large garlic cloves ( finely minced )
¼ c. Parmesan cheese ( freshly grated )
½ c. Italian breadcrumbs
2 pieces large eggs
½ c. whole milk
1 T. Italian seasoning
¼ t. red pepper flakes ( crushed )
to taste salt
to taste black pepper
4 pieces Pepper Jack cheese sticks
1 jar 24-oz marina sauce
Provolone cheese ( thinly sliced )
Hoagie rolls ( 7-8 inches )
