Meaty Pasta Sauce

One thing that I love about this Meaty Pasta Sauce is that it is nice and thick. You don't have to worry about it running into all of your other food. Oh, and it's delicious!

2 pounds sweet Italian sausage
1 cup onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
2 (6.5 ounce) cans tomato sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons basil (2 tablespoons fresh)
1/2 teaspoon fennel seed
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1/4 teaspoon rosemary
1/4 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon oregano (1 tablespoon fresh)
1 teaspoon Thyme (1 tablespoon fresh)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
