I remember seeing lemon curd in the grocery store when I was a kid. It was by the peanut butter and jelly and I always thought it had to be the nastiest stuff on the planet. After all, the only curd I had ever had was the cheese kind of curd and that mixed with lemon sounded way less than appealing.
