No Bake Scotcheroo Bars Recipe

We have grown up with these delicious scotcheroos! We love the peanut butter goodness added into the rice krispie treats. They are so easy to make and a quick dessert when you don't have a lot of time. Bet you can't eat just one!!!

1 cup sugar
1 cup white karo corn syrup
1 1/2 cups peanut butter, creamy or chunky
6 cups rice krispies
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
In a heavy saucepan add the sugar and karo syrup together. Cook together until it starts to boil, stirring constantly. Then remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until it has melted and blended...

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
