{not your grandma's} Green Bean Casserole

This recipe takes a classic dish and revitalizes it with fresh vegetables and no cans of cream soup! It's probably not the recipe your grandma uses, but I bet she'll give it her approval!

2 TBS butter
2 TBS flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 TBS dried onion
1 cup sour cream
3 lbs fresh green beans*
½ can french dried onions
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup crumbled buttery round crackers
