This simple, old-fashioned recipe for Cranberry Muffins comes from Mrs. Wilkes' Boarding House in historic Savannah, Georgia. 3/4 c sugar
2 c all purpose flour
1/2 t baking soda
3/4 t salt
1 egg
3/4 c buttermilk
1/4 c shortening
