One Skillet Cheesy Taco Orzo

Easy and delicious taco orzo made in one skillet.

1 pound ground turkey
1 small yellow onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 red bell pepper, diced
2 cups dry orzo
1 1/4 cups taco sauce
1 1/2 cups low sodium chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Sriracha
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tomato, diced
black olives, sliced
green onions, sliced

In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, cook the ground turkey until completely cooked and crumbled.

Houmous is originally a Mediterranean dip which is written in few ways, houmous, hummus, humous or humus. What a gorgeous dip to have with some nice homemade flat bread or with crudities or eat in a pita bread with beautifully homemade falafel. Whichever way you choose to have it it's absolutely gorgeous and very good for you -good and rich in proteins.

3 lb ground beef
2 cups oatmeal

2 eggs

Sauce:
1 1/2 cup ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Mix all ingredients for meatballs together. Form meatballs and place in 2-9×13 inch glass baking dish.
  • Mix sauce and pour over the meatballs.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
