Onion Tomato Chicken
A dry chicken recipe that we can serve as a starter or as a side dish with any rice.

Chicken – ½ kg( Preferably boneless)
Big onions – 1 cup (finely chopped)
Tomatoes – ¾ cup ( Finely chopped)
Green chilies – 3 nos.(slitted)
Ginger garlic paste – 1 ½ tbsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Salt – as needed
Coriander leaves - finely chopped( handful)
To temper:
Oil – 3 tbsp +3 tbsp
Curry leaves – 2 sprig
Cardamom – 1 no
Cinnamon stick ( pattai) – 1 inch
Bay leaf – 1 no.
Cloves – 2 nos.
Big onions – 1 cup (finely chopped)
Tomatoes – ¾ cup ( Finely chopped)

1. Wash chicken thoroughly. Add 1/8 tsp of turmeric powder, give a mix and rinse for two more times.Drain the water completely and keep aside.
