Ready in just 45 minutes in the morning after proofing in the fridge overnight.

600 grams flour (about 9 dl)
25 grams sugar
2 teaspoons dry yeast (about 7g)
400 grams milk, lukewarm (about 37 C or 98 F)
50 grams salted butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 large egg, beaten
0.1 liters flour (for baking)

Day 1 (about 10-20 min)

  1. Mix the dry yeast with the flour and sugar, in a bowl large enough to fit all the ingredients. If you have time, let it sit for 10 minutes.
