Well when craving for something sweet how about going the old fashioned route? Yes, pancakes are one of the oldest, easiest yet yummiest things to have. If you are on a diet and craving for sweet then skipping your lunch and having pancakes instead is the wise thing to do. They are very fulfilling and you will not feel guilty for consuming extra calories. The ingredients that you need to make pancakes are readily available in your house so there is no added hassle of going for the grocery.

Flour 1 ½
Baking powder 3 tablespoons
Salt a pinch
Sugar 2 tablespoons
Milk 1 ½ cup
Egg 1
Butter 2 tablespoons
Maple syrup 1 tablespoon
• Take a large bowl and add your flour in it. • Now add baking soda, sugar and a pinch of salt. • Mix it well to make sure all dry ingredients are one. • Now make a small well in your bowl. • Crack your egg inside the well. • Add milk in it. • Mix it well to make sure there are no lumps. • The batter should be of thick consistency. • Now take a frying pan and put it on medium heat • Grease your frying pan with melted butter. • Using serving spoon, pour your batter in frying pan. • Move your frying pan in circular motion to make sure your batter spreads nicely and forms a circle. • Wait till bubbles start appearing on the top of the batter. • Use a non-stick spoon and turn your pancake. • Let it other side cook for 2-3 minutes. • Dish out your pancake in a plate. • Drizzle maple syrup on it. • To make it even more delicious, serve your pancakes with praline ice-cream
