Pasta with Asparagus and Lemon Cream Sauce

This Pasta is easy, filling, balanced and so delicious!

1 TBS Butter
1 Cup Chicken broth
1/2-1 tsp grated fresh lemon zest
1/4 Cup chopped onion
1/2 Cup heavy whipping Cream
1 lb whole wheat bow tie noodles (I found these at my local grocery store and that store usually doesn\'t have anything I want so you shouldn\'t have trouble finding some)
1 lb asparagus (cut into 1 inch pieces)
1 Cup frozen or fresh peas (I don\'t even thaw them)
1/3 Cup grated Parmesan cheese (add more if you like it cheesier)
*2 chicken breasts cooked and cubed- optional

1 c dry breadcrumbs
1 c Corn Flakes cereal crumbs
2 t sugar
2 t paprika
