Pav or pao is basically a small loaf of bread, introduced by the Portuguese in India. Pav and Pav bhaji indirectly points to Mumbai. It is one of the famous street foods of India’s business capital Mumbai. I have seen lot of people from small street vendors to restaurants in posh malls cater this dish. Laadi pav ( as rreferrred in Mumbai) means it looks like slabs of buns resembling the slabs of the floor after it gets baked. This dish has a history that it was created by a vendor for textile

All purpose flour / maida - 2.5 - 3 cups
Oil / softened Butter - 2 tablespoon
Instant yeast - 2 teaspoon
Sugar - 2 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Warm water - 1 cup or as required
