Peanut Butter Bars

Who can resist the combination of peanut butter and chocolate? Best combo ever! I've tried a lot of Peanut Butter Bars in my day, but these ones are by far the best! The extra layer of peanut butter adds just the right amount of flavor.

1 cup butter ( melted )
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
2 cups oats
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
to taste peanut butter
For the Chocolate Frosting:
1/2 cup butter ( softened )
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup evaporated milk ( plus 1 tbsp )
  1. ombine butter, sugars, peanut butter, eggs and vanilla together.
  2. Add flour, oats, salt and baking soda and mix well.

Stewed Okra and Tomatoes is a classic Southern dish! Flavored with bacon, onion, garlic and cider vinegar, you know these vegetables are bound to be good. 1 small Vidalia onion
2 cloves garlic
2 15.5 oz cans diced tomatoes
1 T sugar
2 t fresh thyme leaves
1 dried bay leaf
