115 g. butter ( softened )
190 g. brown sugar
100 g. caster sugar
1 egg
235 ml. milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
195 g. flour
60 g. cocoa
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon fine sea or table salt
3 pears
to taste powdered sugar ( for dusting )

Heat your oven to 160°C. Put parchment paper in the loaf pan.
