2 tablespoons kosher salt
2 tablespoons black pepper
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon paprika ( if you like the smokey flavor, use smoked paprika )
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
6-7 pound beef brisket with a fat cap of at least ΒΌ inch

In a small bowl, combine all of the spices, salt, pepper, and brown sugar. Stir to combine.
