This is the yummiest comfort food around! A spin on the classic chicken pot pie this is a delicious savory beef stew topped with flaky pasty! Yum!

1 frozen puff pastry
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 ½ lbs. stewing beef
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups mushrooms, chopped
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 garlic cloves, pressed
1 teaspoon thyme leaves
½ teaspoon rosemary, minced
½ cup red wine
5 ½ cups beef broth
6 small potatoes, diced
1 onion, chopped
¼ cup cornstarch
½ cup cold water
3 cups frozen veggies
½ cup parsley, minced
1 egg + 1 tablespoon water

2 t ground cinnamon
1 t ground ginger
1/2 t ground nutmeg
1/4 t ground cloves
