Pumpkin Butterscotch Brownies

I am a huge fan of anything with pumpkin in it, but I am also a huge fan of butterscotch. When I saw this recipe that combined both of these, I knew that I had to give them a try. This recipe comes from a cookbook put together by my husbands hometown. These were absolutely delicious and definitely met my expectations!! -Robin

1/2 cup butter, softened

2 cups brown sugar
1 cup pumpkin puree
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cup flour
1 1/4 cup oatmeal
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan. Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the pumpkin, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in the dry ingredients. Add the butterscotch chips. ...
