Quick Scone Dough

I love scones for many reasons-the main being Navajo Tacos! You can also put honey, cinnamon sugar, jam, honey-butter, and much more on these for a delicious treat. This is my go-to recipe for scone dough. It takes very little time and you don't have to wait for the dough to rise.

2 cups flour
1 T baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup milk
oil/shortening for frying
1 T baking powder

1 cup milk
oil/shortening for frying
Mix the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the milk and mix until the dough comes together. Add flour if needed. Knead for about 5 minutes until dough forms a ball and is smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes....
