1 TB oil
2 cloves garlic ( minced )
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
2-1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. dried parsley
1/4 c. salsa or picante
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1-1/2 c. water
1 tbsp dried minced onion
Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes. Add the remainder ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
