These red wine braised beef short ribs cook low and slow in a Dutch oven until they're tender, succulent, and full of rich flavor. kosher salt and pepper
2 T vegetable oil
5 carrots
3 celery stalks
2 large onions
2 T all purpose flour
3 T tomato paste
3 cloves garlic
3 c dry red wine
2 T fresh thyme leaves
1 T chopped fresh rosemary
1 T chopped fresh parsley
2 bay leaves
2 t brown sugar
4 c beef broth
