Refrigerator Dill Pickles

They have just the right balance of fresh dill, garlic, onions and cider vinegar, for a light, refreshing taste without an overpowering tang.
1 c cider vinegar
2 T kosher salt
1.5 T granulated sugar
1 whole clove garlic ( peeled )
6 c sliced cucumbers
2 c thinly sliced Vidalia onions
6 sprigs fresh dill
