Roasted BBQ Chicken with Homemade Spice Rub

Let me start off by saying we LOVE chicken, and we eat a lot of it. Uncle Bee took one bite of THIS chicken and proclaimed it, 'The BEST chicken he had ever had.' I am MOSTLY certain it wasn't because a shopping trip took a little longer than necessary and dinner was a tad late ;-) Seriously, though, make this! 1 whole chicken, about 3 to 3 1/2 lbs
2 TBSP mayonnaise
Homemade BBQ rub (recipe below)

Homemade BBQ Spice rub
1/2 TBSP paprika
1/2 TBSP garlic powder
1/2 TBSP onion powder
1/2 TBSP chili powder
1 TBSP brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)
