RUSSIAN SHASHLIK – CHICKEN SHISH KEBAB

Tender chicken marinated in sour cream and dill, grilled to perfection. Also known as a white BBQ this chicken is so moist and full of flavor. Perfect for something different at your next back yard gathering.

2 cups sour cream or plain yogurt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
3 cloves of garlic ( minced )
2 green onions ( finely sliced )
2 tablespoon dill ( finely chopped )
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2-3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs ( cubed into 1 1/2 inch pieces )
  1. In a large bowl mix together sour cream, lemon, and oil. Add garlic, onion, and spices. Mix well.
