Happy National Pizza Day! I LOVE pizza and this rustic pesto pizza is one of my favorites. It's made with homemade pesto sauce, fresh mozzarella, and tomato. Pesto pizza is so simple to put together and perfect for a quick weeknight meal or romantic dinner for two. (wink wink!)

1 package of Artisan pizza bread - 2 in a pack
1/2 cup of pesto sauce - recipe in notes
16 oz fresh mozzarella - sliced
1 large tomato - sliced
1/2 cup of pesto sauce - recipe in notes
16 oz fresh mozzarella - sliced
1 large tomato - sliced
Heat oven to 350 degrees
Spread more than half of the pesto sauce on the artisan breads
Next evenly layer sliced tomato and then fresh mozzarella
Lastly drizzle the last bit of pesto sauce on top
