Sambar is a famous south Indian dish. Mostly, sambar is served with idli, dosa, medu vada, rice or uttapam.

1 cup toor dal
(1 tsp) tamarind
2 onions
1 brinjal
4-5 pieces drumstick
ΒΌ cup Pumpkin ( chopped )

- Wash toor dal 2-3 times and add it into the pressure cooker with 3 glasses of water.
- After 5 minutes close the lid and take 6 whistles on high flame
